Things are starting stablize a bit, the dust is clearing and everyone seems to be finding thier focus again. its been difficult to get back to work, its been nearly a month since i shot anything, but the itch is there and my schedule is catching up with me.... new work soon.

This has not been an easy week. We got the news on Monday night and our lives have halted since then. she was one of the most sun-filled people ive met, and she touched my life in the short time that i had the fortune of knowing her. her laughter and energy will not be forgotten.
she wasnt just 'from' her little island home, she 'was' her island home, in everything she did she embodied the spirit of her community, my heart goes out to her family and friends on Salt Spring Island, the people who knew her best. Youre not alone in this, the entire community and local industry is feeling the same loss, shock, fear, and sadness.
You will be deeply missed D.

It was a hell of a day, sneezing in the long grass and trying to keep up with Katrina. There are no good things to say about hayfever, but there are no bad things to say about Katrina... i suppose everything balances out.
