We got the news on Monday night and our lives have halted since then. she was one of the most sun-filled people ive met, and she touched my life in the short time that i had the fortune of knowing her. her laughter and energy will not be forgotten.<br /><br />she wasnt just 'from' her little island home, she 'was' her island home, in everything she did she embodied the spirit of her community, my heart goes out to her family and friends on Salt Spring Island, the people who knew her best.
